THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING FESTIVAL!

We want to thank each and every one of you who were able to join us this year for our 2024 Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival! It was a very special weekend, made all the more special by the family and friends that joined us, and made it all possible.

As you are all likely aware by now, Thomas Point Beach and Campground was sold in the fall of 2024 to Modern America Campgrounds.  We understand that this news will be discouraging for many to hear, and we sincerely apologize for the lack of updates with regards to this transition.

At this time, the new owners of the campground are beginning many new upgrades and improvements to our cherished campground, and through discussions with the management, we have determined that it will not be possible for the campground to host our festival in the 2025 season.  This has been a very difficult decision to make, however, we are encouraged by the new owner’s commitment to continue the park’s legacy and partnerships, while also bringing the property into a new era with updated infrastructure and amenities.  Beyond that, we can only share that we will be available as a resource to them should bluegrass be in their plans for the future.

We will be sure to post here, and to Facebook, as soon as we find out more information about what the future holds.

You are important to all of us, and we will be forever grateful for the love and trust you have all shown us over the years.

What about Labor Day Camping in 2025?

We appreciate that many of our devoted fans have been able to come to the park on Labor Day Weekend to camp “Festival Family” style in the past, when the Festival has taken a break of a year or more.  Unfortunately, at this time, the new owners have given us no information about if or when camping for the season will open, or what their plans are for camping on Labor Day weekend.  We will be sure to let you know, when we have more information.
